Our ELC camp started last week and continues to excite the children with four awesome stations focusing on science, art, cognitive skills and drama. The students are divided into groups and rotate through the stations each day. New elements are added on a daily basis to keep things fresh and exciting. Before the rotations start, time is spent each morning in worship outside. This week, the short messages focused on how God has made everything wonderful and different items were added to the presentation board each day.
The theme for our On the Move camp for elementary students is superheros. Many of the art and sport activities carry that theme but the camp is also packed with familiar things like cooking, swimming, camp wide Olympics, and field trips. This week, our campers had a special visit from a scientist who set up a crime scene investigation, and they also went to Brooks Farm and Markham Bowl.
