This afternoon, the elementary division put on the first part of the annual talent show, showcasing some of the many budding skills and talents of our young students. Thanks to our emcee team of four Grade 4 students, the hour long talent show moved smoothly through the twenty performances! The first act, which consisted of five Grade 8 students, set the tone and wowed the audience.

Subsequent acts included performances that showcased dancing, Taekwondo, Rubik’s cubes and gaming talent.

Musical presentations included various solos on piano, drums, viola, violin, acoustic guitar as well as a brother-sister voice and piano duet!

Also included in the show was a thirteen member group of musicians and dancers. These Grade 5 students have been practicing since September and came fully dressed in matching t-shirts that featured the song that they would sing, “Praise”, which is based on Psalm 150:6.

Our final act this afternoon was a dance solo starring one of our Grade 4 students.

By the end of the show, it was very clear that Wesley has some students with amazing talent! We are so thankful that God has blessed them with the desire and ability to share some of the gifts that He has given them with our community. We look forward to Part 2 of the show tomorrow afternoon.
