This morning, the Toddler 1 class and their teachers led the recitation of the pledges, O Canada and the Lord’s Prayer. Many in the class also stood in the front and did the actions to some of the three songs that were sung – “He’s Able”, “My God is So Big”, and “God is So Good”.

Mrs. Taylor was the speaker today and she showed two videos. One was about “Daniel and the Lion’s Den” ,and the other was about the “Little Maid” (who worked for the wife of Naaman). Mrs. Taylor also talked about a third story – David, the shepherd boy, who killed a lion while protecting his sheep. She used all three stories (and the help of two students who dressed up in costumes) to emphasize a few points:
- We have a “big and mighty” God and nothing can stop Him, not even lions.
- God hears and answers our prayers.
- You are not too small to tell others about God
- You can pray for others.
To close, Mrs. Taylor led the children in singing “God is So Good” before asking them to follow and repeat her prayer of thanksgiving to end the service.
