ELC 2025 Christmas Concerts – Friday, December 5th

On Friday, December 5th, our ELC division put on two different Christmas performances for friends and family. Mrs. Scott, our ELC Supervisor, welcomed everyone to the school gymnasium. Several JK and SK students acted as narrators and introduced the evening.

Our first group of students on stage was the PK1 class. Every student was dressed in costume to tell the Christmas story which began with a scene at the inn. There were donkeys, sheep, cows, shepherds, Mary and Joseph. The students sang a song called “No Room at the Inn”.

Our youngest students, the toddlers, were the next to arrive. The Toddler 1 class sat neatly in a row in their adorable matching Christmas star costumes trimmed with gold garlands. Our Toddler 2 class sported angel, barn animal and shepherd costumes and stood behind as they sang and did actions to “Go, Tell it on the Mountain”.

As the Christmas story continued, the last to arrive were the Wise Men and the PK2 class. Three students dressed as the Three Kings while the rest of the class wore festive attire in red or green. They sang a song called “Wise Men Are We” with lots of smiles and actions.

Before the show ended, the PK1 class came back on stage and the two classes sang two songs – “Happy Birthday, Jesus” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”.

Later in the afternoon, our Junior and Senior Kindergarten students performed their version of the Christmas story. The SK2 class kicked off the show after an introduction from the narrators with a energetic song called “Oh What a Glorious Night!”. They followed with a more traditional version of “Away in the Manger”.

Next, the JK2 class arrived, some wearing barnyard animal costumes while others wore festive red and green outfits. They sang ” Mary’s Boy Child”.

Students in our JK1 class then dazzled the audience as a host of angels singing “Angels We have Heard on High”.

The last to arrive were the Wise Men and the SK1 class. They sang “We Three Kings” with perfect actions and dialogue.

For the grande finale, approximately 94 JK and SK students appeared on stage together and sang “Happy Birthday Jesus” and “Joy to the World!” to end a very memorable and special evening!
