Term 3 House Team Day – June 16, 2026

Today was our last House Team Day of the 2025-2026 school year. The House Team Captains started us off in the morning with House Team cheers during announcements.

Students and staff came dressed in their house team colours. Many even had accessories – ballet tutus, hair bands, stuffies, flags, hats, necklaces, capes, masks – to enhance their outfits.

In the afternoon, there was a short assembly consisting of House Team cheers and the announcement of the winner of the House Team Cup! Mrs. Ma asked House Team Captains to reveal their own team’s total. Congratulations to Buchanan House for coming in first place this year!!!!

After the cheering died down, Mrs. Ma explained the afternoon activities. Each student would create either a colouring sheet (JK-Grade 3) or a booklet (Grade 4-8) to celebrate the special memories or highlights of their school year. In addition, students would paint rocks that will be used to beautify the grounds of Wesley.

By the end of the afternoon, colourful booklets or sheets were taken home and a collection of freshly painted rocks were drying in the classrooms. Creative shapes, Bible verses, animals, short messages, crosses and other designs were proudly painted on those smooth surfaces.

We are thankful for another year of growth within our House Teams and friendly competition between each House. We look forward to next school year for these bonds of friendship and community to continue to strengthen and flourish!
