Today, our ELC gathered for one final chapel service to celebrate God’s faithfulness throughout an incredible school year. This special chapel was made even more meaningful because every class had the opportunity to participate and lead us in worship.
As we entered the cafeteria, Mrs. Seto welcomed our hearts into worship by playing “Every Praise” by Hezekiah Walker, creating a joyful atmosphere as students and teachers prepared to praise God together.
Our JK students were seated on the benches alongside the SK students for the second time this year as they continue preparing for their transition to Senior Kindergarten. Selected JK2 students confidently led the pledges, the Lord’s Prayer, and O Canada, demonstrating how much they have grown in confidence and leadership.
Ms. Seto warmly welcomed everyone and reflected on the many blessings God has poured out on our Wesley community this year. She encouraged us to pause, look back with grateful hearts, and thank God for His faithfulness in guiding us through another wonderful school year.
The most emotional moment of the morning came as our SK graduates, who celebrated their graduation yesterday, sang their graduation song one final time.
- SK2: The Miracles of Jesus
- SK1: When I Grow Up

Their performance became a heartfelt tribute to every teacher and staff member who has walked alongside them—from their toddler years all the way to Senior Kindergarten. There were tears, smiles, and grateful hearts as we reflected on how much these children have grown. We are incredibly proud of the young people they have become and pray that God continues to guide them as they begin an exciting new chapter in Grade 1.
Following this touching tribute, each class joyfully shared a song that reflected their learning and faith journey throughout the year:
- T1: He’s Able
- T2: I Can Trust God
- PK1: I Might Be Small
- PK2: Kingdom of the Son
- JK1: What an Awesome God
- JK2: Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho

Each song beautifully reflected our students’ journey of faith throughout the year. From celebrating the miracles of Jesus and dreaming about who God is calling them to become, to learning that even the smallest child has an important place in God’s Kingdom, our students joyfully proclaimed their faith through music. They reminded us that we can trust God, praise His awesome name, and courageously follow Him wherever He leads.
As we close another school year, we thank God for every child, every family, every teacher, and every moment that has shaped our Wesley community. May our students continue to carry God’s love, His truth, and His praises wherever they go.
“Every praise is to our God.” May that continue to be the song in our hearts throughout the summer and into the new school year ahead.
