On Thursday, the Sr. Boys volleyball team competed in the ACSI tournament against 7 other schools.
The morning consisted of a round robin played against 3 other teams. The Sr. Boys played well from the outset, even though they narrowly lost the first game. However, as the morning went on, the team won every set of every game they played. The morning consisted of non-stop encouragement and excellent team spirit from every player on the team.
Play-offs began in the afternoon. Strong communication on and off the court kept the morale high and performance at its peak. As the play-offs continued, the team did not lose any set, and made it to the finals.
For the final game, Wesley competed against Stouffville Christian School. The other team gave Wesley a good challenge at first, but as the games progressed, Wesley came out on top and won the championship title! The Sr. Boys demonstrated great teamwork and positivity throughout the day. Well done, Wesley!
