CARE & SHARE DAY – THE NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION: Each month, one of the grades in the elementary division chooses a local, national or global charity, cause or organization to support. It may involve raising money, collecting items (e.g. food, clothes, toothbrushes, etc.), or volunteering their time. For the month of September, our Grade 4 classes have decided to raise money for a residential school survivor fund. Our Care & Share Day will take place on September 30th, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Staff and students will be asked to wear an orange shirt and bring in a small donation (loonies, toonies or more). Please plan ahead to support this special day.
