On Wednesday, January 17th, the 2A class celebrated the fulfillment of their classroom reward chart with a very special Pajama and Movie Day. This delightful event served as a special reward for the students’ consistent class teamwork towards being responsible towards not only themselves, but their classmates, their studies and working together to create a loving and caring climate in our 2A family classroom. The day began like any other, with the students diving into their regular subjects with enthusiasm and diligence – they really enjoyed doing their math and phonics with their stuffies keeping them company on their desks (hope they didn’t give them too many answers)!
It was truly heartening to witness the students’ focus and commitment to their learning journey.
After lunch, the classroom buzzed with excitement as students arrived all ready and eager in their favorite pajamas, reuniting with their cuddly stuffies in anticipation for the afternoon of fun! To kick off the festivities, the class started by decorating adorable gingerbread men with a healthy helping of frosting and sprinkles, commencing the afternoon with a sweet and creative affair!
After adding the finishing touches to their gingerbread creations, the students settled in for a movie, where they cuddled up together on the carpet with their classmates, stuffies, comfy pillows and big beanbags! The combination of cozy pajamas, beloved stuffies, and the delightful aroma of gingerbread filled the room with joy and laughter.
This Pajama and Movie Day wasn’t simply about unwinding with a film; it was a celebration of the students’ achievements and a testament to the warm community they’ve built together. Keep an eye out for more updates on the exciting happenings in our 2A class!
