What if your child could travel to space… explore the stars… and even send their name to the Moon?
During the two weeks of March Break, our SK students did just that — becoming young astronauts as they stepped into an exciting Space Camp adventure, discovering the wonders of God’s creation through hands-on exploration, imagination, and joy.

From the moment they entered the classroom, students were immersed in a world of galaxies, planets, and stars. One of the most exciting days was Space Costume Day, where our little explorers arrived dressed for the mission — some as astronauts ready for liftoff, others shining in creative outfits filled with constellations and colourful planets. Their enthusiasm lit up the room!
Students eagerly took part in activities that brought space to life. At our Space Station Investigation Table, they observed, questioned, and explored like real scientists. At the Rocket Ship Photo Booth, they climbed aboard and imagined themselves soaring through the sky 🚀📸. Every activity encouraged curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

One unforgettable moment came when a student shared her DIY solar system vest, lovingly created with her entire family — even their pet watching along! It was a beautiful reminder that learning doesn’t stop at school — it grows when families come together.

But the excitement didn’t stop there…
Our students were thrilled to learn about the upcoming Artemis II mission that will send four astronauts around the Moon — including Canada’s very own Jeremy Hansen from London, Ontario. Knowing that a Canadian astronaut is part of this historic journey filled our classroom with pride and wonder. As we look ahead to the live coverage, the highly anticipated launch is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 at 6:24 p.m., building even more excitement for this incredible moment in space exploration.
Now, our students have already taken part in something truly special — sending their names to the Moon! 🌟 Each child who signed up had the opportunity to receive a personalized boarding pass, making them feel like true members of the crew. The excitement continues to grow as launch day approaches! 🚀

Throughout this Space Camp journey, students not only explored science — they also deepened their sense of wonder and faith. As we gazed at the Moon and stars, we were reminded that the universe is part of God’s magnificent creation, filled with beauty, purpose, and endless discovery.
Who knows? The next astronaut to follow in those footsteps might just be sitting in our classroom today! 🚀🌌
