Grade 7&8 Band at the Kiwanis Festival – February 27th, 2026

Today, the Grade 7&8 students in our Senior Band ventured to the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, in Scarborough, for the Kiwanis Festival.  This is a new event for our school. There, they played two songs – “Battle of the Samurai” by Timothy Loest and “Journey of Invention” by David Marlatt. They were adjudicated by Mary Ann Fratia, who awarded the band a score of 84 for a Silver Award. Congratulations, Miss Errington and the Grade 7&8 Senior Band!
