Yesterday was the last day of the 2025-2026 school year and we celebrated it with “Play Day”! We are so thankful that the weather cooperated with our event. In the recent past, we had oppressive heat or rain which forced our event to take place indoors. However, the weather yesterday was just perfect for outdoor activities!
We had a few new activities this year as well as some traditional favourites. New to outside Play Day activities included a bubble blowing station, beach volleyball nets on the field, and a face / body painting station.

We also had long time favourites such as Gaga ball, spike ball, basketball, giant connect 5, giant Jenga, chalk drawing, and corn toss.

Inside, we had our two jumpy castles set up in the gym and some quiet activities such as colouring and bracelet making.

We couldn’t have Play Day without freezies as well!

In the afternoon, students engaged in quieter indoor activities such as colouring, Mad Lib, board games and building activities before they wound down another exciting year at Wesley! Have a great summer everyone!
