Term 3 – CRISP Celebration – June 12, 2025

This school year, the focus of our elementary division is to encourage students to display CRISP (Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Servant’s Heart, Perseverance) behaviours. On Thursday afternoon, we held our Term 3 CRISP Celebration to recognize students that displayed outstanding CRISP behaviour throughout the term. Before the awards ceremony, Mrs. V led an enthusiastic cheer to review the components of the CRISP acronym.

After the CRISP Awards, there was a Wesley Wildfire Sports update. Mr. Pun recapped our badminton tournament results and awarded the Encourager Award to a Grade 8 student.

Ms. Hoover shared that the Jr. Softball Team came in third place in their tournament while the Senior Softball Team came in second place. She awarded the Encourager Awards to a student in Grade 4 and one in Grade 8.

Lastly, Ms. Hoover announced that Wesley came in third overall for the track and field event. She awarded numerous individual awards and called up approximately 60 students. Some won multiple ribbons for different events. There were also ribbons for our relay teams. 11 out of our 12 teams placed in the top 5!
