Today’s ELC Chapel – April 26, 2024

The PK1 class led this morning’s ELC chapel service. Ms. Donkor engaged the students in three energetic songs: “Let’s Get a Little Crazy”, “I Wanna Do Right”, and “Jump into the Light”.

Mrs. Lau then followed with the Bible story about the Parable of the Lost Sheep. She explained that Jesus is our Good Shepherd and will look high and low for us if we lose our way, because He loves us. Then, He celebrates when we are found. To try to make the connection stronger, she also had a basket of toys and books and asked the children how they would feel if one of their special toys was lost but then found again. She explained that God would be so happy to have a lost item returned as well!

Next, she showed two videos. One recounted the Parable of the Lost Sheep and the second was a song called “The Lost Sheep”. To conclude the service, an SK student from the JK/SK class said a closing prayer.
