Today’s ELC Chapel Service – February 27, 2026

The Toddler 1 class led this morning’s ELC chapel. After the pledges, O Canada and The Lord’s Prayer, Miss Atkins led a time of musical worship with two songs – “Arky Arky” and “He’s Able”. Many of the toddlers were given musical instruments and danced along to both songs!

Next, Mrs. Michelle introduced the Bible verse of the day, “For nothing will be impossible with God” Luke 1:37. She explained that sometimes, things may seem difficult but we need to keep trying and ask for help. That can be help from God or others that he provides. Since they had just sung a song about Noah’s Ark, she asked the children whether they thought building the ark was a difficult task. Many students nodded or shouted out “Yes!”. She then asked the students for some examples of difficult things that they have done or are doing. Mrs. Michelle shared her own personal challenges when she had to get her drivers license. It took 4 tries and God’s grace to help her pass! Then, she shared a short video/ song about how nothing is impossible with God.

After the song, she had two SK volunteers go to the front. They were given a puzzle to put together. After a few minutes of working on it, Mrs. Michelle started to help. However, even with Mrs. Michelle, the team still needed help. A teacher joined the group and soon the puzzle was finished to reveal a picture of Noah’s Ark! Mrs. Michelle then had a short conversation with the two SK students about the challenging puzzle and reinstated today’s verse and theme to reassure them that nothing is impossible with God’s help.

To respond to the message, everyone sang “Nothing is Impossible” and Miss Atkins closed in prayer.
